Miguel Del Castillo is a Librarian, Translator, and Curator who works at IMS Paulista in São Paulo, Brazil

Episode 465: Miguel Del Castillo is a curator, independent translator, and librarian for IMS Paulista in São Paulo, where I had the opportunity to speak with him about his many activities and duties. Our conversation took place at IMS Paulista.

I was introduced to Miguel while he was wearing his curator and librarian hats for IMS Paulista, an incredible institution with three locations in Brazil. Their programming is diverse, and their exhibitions are significant. Dedicated to photography, community, and film, IMS Paulista also harbors a monumental library of photobooks that Miguel has helped to shape over the recent years.

We spoke about IMS, but also about how Miguel came to photography and his involvement with ZUM Magazine, as well as his significant curatorial contributions to Stefania Bril, amongst other well-received artists. Please listen in.
