Episode 409: Benedetta Casagrande and I sat down to speak about her excellent new book and winner of the Fotografia Europea and Skinnerboox Photobook Award All Things laid Dormant.
Benedetta, a colleague and a friend since the publishing of her book, has gone on to receive the Luigi Ghirri 2024 Award for the same work and has just been shortlisted for the Rencontres d’Arles Book Award. It has been a much-deserved year for Benedetta and I am proud to have helped work on her book in its early stages through Covid-19.
Throughout the conversation, Benedetta and I spoke about putting All Things Dormant together and her general outlook on photography, writing, curatorial, and education efforts.
