Given its size and subject matter, Tino’s book is the most immersive book of 2024. In some ways, reading it, one feels locked in Tino’s mind. I am reminded of Josh Kern, JH Engström, and Nan Goldin, among other artists who work in a diaristic form, incorporating their personal lives into their work for others to view.
