Inuuteq Storch is a Greenland-based artist

Episode 323: Inuuteq Storch is a native Grenland artist based between Sisimut, Greenland, and Copenhagen, Denmark. His new book Keepers of the Ocean has recently been published by exceptional publishers Disko Bay from Copenhagen.

It was fantastic to catch up with Inuuteq to speak about his new book Keepers of the Ocean, published by Disko Bay, one of my favorite contemporary publishers, whose vision and fresh illumination of a generation of young Danish artists has been inspiring to watch unfold. I had not previously known of Storch’s work. Still, I was delighted to receive his new book, which explores intimate studies of his family and friends both in his native Greenland and in Copenhagen, where the artist attended the noted photography school Fatamorgana.

Throughout the episode, Inuueq and I spoke about his beloved Greenland and how he became involved in photography with a series of experiences in New York at the ICP and Copenhagen. Inuuteq’s original voice and vision were a pleasure to sift through. Please Tune In!
